25 is just too young to have a hand in deciding how tens of millions of city tax dollars are spent. Just not enough life experience. Most 25 year-olds I know can’t balance a check book or accurately fill out a Form 1040. It would be like giving a 12 year-old kid the keys to the Maserati for the evening. A disaster waiting to happen. What were the GG voters thinking?

    • BeeBee.BeeLeaves

      Well, operatives were involved.
Like the DNA prez race, only dinky level.
But in line with what WikiLeaks exposed about districting, gerrymandering, yada yada.

At least we are not flagrant Santa Ana, ward 3, is it? A lobbyist for desalinization with obvious agenda …oh yeah, neighborhoods, yeah care! How.sad.is.that?

In ten years, you’ll see what they’re thinking and doing. It didn’t take them that long to take over Santa Ana. With them losing Loretta Sanchez, in the political arena, they’re just priming another one, the keep the EMME and LaRaza on the political spectrum of Orange County.

Umm…..BeeBeeBeeLeaves, you do realize that in your compilations of the demographics of the wonderful City of Garden Grove, you excluded African Americans, right? Not that anyone would blame you…The exclusive campaign of each of the races, that you so candidly mentioned, is and has always been to DELIBERATELY EXILE the African American people from existence. Your statement of fact essentially proves that certain people only consider Asains, Caucasians and Hispanics as making up the whole of society. Well done…And, eventually, one day, the Whites will also realize that they’re next, in the ultimate exclusion of a race, from the demographics of these foreigners idealism of the American Society.

Did not mean to offend but the African American demographic in the 2000, 16 years ago, census was not easy to remember, so small a number. What stood out back then was the even 33% for each of the other three. No one was excluding anyone. Simply the numbers were not there back then in this particular city. Please don’t feel left out. That’s what the stats were. It is, what it is. Again, year 2000 US Census. I thought I stated that year specifically. In any case, you missed nothing. Everyone got screwed over by the hotel deals. Regardless of race.

Oh shit…G.G. just opened the door, allowing them to take over City government and inundate the city with more illegals, just like they’ve successfully accomplished in S.A. Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Tustin, Irvine…you’re next.

    • BeeBee.BeeLeaves

      That not nice. Naughty, naughty.

GG is one third give or take, of each demographic. We were in 2000 census pretty even 33% of each, white, Asian, Latino.

The problem with this election for us is that it’s been used for gerrymandering communities and for me, myself and I, I, I. We are known for springboarding politician’s careera since the 70s, 80s, Pringle, Dunn, Rohrbacher … and quiet frankly that enrages us more. As it does our nation, as evident by the run for president. Politicians who use the system for their personal enrichment are no longer in voque.

East 6. Still used. Still unrepresented.
Nothing to see here. Move along lil doggies, move along.

“The Registrar’s online voting portal did not include any votes for write-in mayoral candidate Tony Flores.”

Why not? I voted for Tony, so he received votes.
