Criticizes Kim’s Support of Incumbent Protection Plan Thwarting Them
FULLERTON, CA – Fulltime elementary school teacher and 65th Assembly District candidate Sharon Quirk-Silva today reiterated her support for a City of Fullerton redistricting plan that would create an Asian Pacific Islander majority district for one of the city’s five city council seats. Fullerton’s city council is scheduled to vote on a final map tomorrow night. “It’s time for historically under-represented communities to have a seat at the table in Fullerton,” said Quirk-Silva who served on Fullerton’s city council and as mayor.
