KOREAN-AMERICAN DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE ENDORSES QUIRK-SILVA
FULLERTON, CA – In another sign that her campaign continues to gather even more momentum after a decisive victory in June’s primary election, full-time teacher and Assembly District 65 candidate Sharon Quirk-Silva today announced receiving the endorsement of the Korean American Democratic Committee (KADC), an influential and powerful voice in Southern California and the Korean-American community. The KADC released this statement in support of Quirk-Silva’s candidacy:
“Sharon Quirk-Silva is the best candidate to make California a place where hard-working people can earn a better life for themselves and their families. She has a proven record of improving our schools, helping small businesses grow, and protecting our environment. Sharon has also been a champion for voting rights and protecting the rights of diverse communities. The Korean American Democratic Committee is proud to support Sharon for the California State Assembly.” Quirk-Silva currently teaches 3rd grade and has spent 30 years teaching in the Fullerton School District.
