The Ocean View School District will host four Community and Parent Input Sessions from May 11 to June 1, 2016, as it develops an inclusive, long-range District Facilities Master Plan (FMP). The Board of Trustees, Superintendent and Leadership Team support the creation of this comprehensive plan, which will include input from a variety of stakeholders across the District and at each school and work site. The District FMP will enable OVSD to plan, responsibly and effectively, for modernization and construction projects and to prioritize the many facilities projects needed to best accommodate and support student learning, teachers and innovative educational programs. Many of our schools are approximately 50 years old and in need of repairs, upgrades and, in some cases, new construction.
