TOWN HALL MEETING
Costa Mesa First and Costa Mesans for Responsible Government co-sponsor Town Hall concerning update of General Plan and ballot measures
(COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA) – June 1, 2016 –Costa Mesa First (CostaMesa1st.com) and Costa Mesans for Responsible Government (CM4RG.org), along with Fairview Park Preservation Alliance and Banning Ranch Conservancy, are giving presentations at a Town Hall on Thursday, June 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the Costa Mesa Community Center, 1845 Park Avenue, Costa Mesa. The topic is “The Past, Present and Future of Costa Mesa: The General Plan and The Citizens’ ‘Smart Growth Initiative’
Speakers will report on the changes to the General Plan proposed by the City of Costa Mesa which will be voted on by the City Council later this month. Specific topics include an overview of urban planning, and the proposed changes to the use of land and the resulting impacts on traffic.
