The Orange County Board of Supervisors will convene a special meeting on Friday, June 10, at 9 a.m. for a public workshop to discuss the County’s strategic financial plan and evaluate County finances beyond the coming fiscal year. “As we look toward adopting a new Fiscal Year 2016-17 budget in June, it makes sense to discuss some additional forecasting so we have a better sense of what longer-range resources will be available,” Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Lisa Bartlett, Fifth District, said. The County annually adopts a five-year Strategic Financial Plan, which provides short- and long-term analyses regarding County strategic goals and identified project priorities.
