I’ll be headed over to Orange Coast College tonight for a public appearance alongside Gustavo Arellano, whose golden pen created the OC Weekly’s “Ask a Mexican” column.

The event, titled “Is Print Journalism Already Dead,” is being sponsored by local activist Dan O’Mahoney, who just launched a new website — silencelies — dedicated to political activism and discourse.

It’s a $6 admission fee at the school’s Fine Arts hall and the event starts at 7:30 p.m.
