This year’s pre-election campaign financial disclosure statements are in, and the numbers show Sukhee Kand and Jeff Lalloway leading the fundraising drive.

Kang, who is competing with Republican candidate Christopher Gonzales to keep his mayoral seat, has raised $113,900 in cash so far, according to his report. Gonzales has raised just $6,249.

Lalloway, who is competing for one of two council seats up for grabs this year, reported raising $94,230 for his campaign, $54,000 of that coming from loans to himself.

Incumbent Larry Agran, as I wrote in an earlier post, is low on cash this election cycle compared with years past.

Republican Central Committee member-elect and council candidate Lynn Schott, who was the center of a spat in the Republican Party over a party endorsement, reported raising $22,539.

Community services commission chairwoman and council candidate Shiva Farivar, who is incumbent Larry Agran’s teammate, reported raising $31,800 for her campaign.

Realtor Yunus Aksoy reported raising $13,360, while Bijan Mazarji and Christopher Moore raised nominal amounts.

Correction: A previous version of this post inaccurately reported the campaign fundraising totals of Irvine Mayor Sukhee Kang and Irvine City Council hopeful Shiva Farivar. We regred the error.
