First, Nazar has an update on the senior housing project that has caused quite a stir in North Tustin.

The Orange County Supervisors this month approved a plan for a $50-million high-density senior living center proposed by the Diocese of Orange on a seven-acre plot that was zoned for single-family homes. Residents of the area have bitterly fought the plan and now are threatening to take the issue to court.

Nazar also reports on the latest developments in the years-long battle that Loren and Frances Reeves have waged with Orange County over a county storm drain that the couple says is destroying their home near La Mirada. Despite losing a court battle with the Reeves’, the county will not acknowledge responsibility for damage to the home.
