“When asked by Voice of OC about these meetings at the time, [Executive Aide Dennis] Bilodeau said that he did not keep his own records of attendance and that if mistakes were made, they were the fault of Water District staffers.”
I don’t think Bilodeau deserves a pass on this one. He admitted he doesn’t know whether or not he was in attendance at a meeting he was elected and paid to attend? Blaming staff when you get caught bilking the taxpayers is just another example of Bilodeau’s complete lack of ethics and integrity.

This is really small potatoes stuff. Boil it down and the "news" here is that Bilodeau accidentally put his hour off on the wrong day. Then of course, in typical VOC fashion they dredge up the past and bring up stuff that happened over a decade ago.
Not sure how this rises to the level of a "news article."

If your real complaint is with the Secure Communities program and not which jail that it fills, won't granting your wish to relocate inmates elsewhere than the Santa Ana Jail perhaps further separate them from family and legal support?
How does that help those involved, and what does that do besides make a bad city budget situation worse?
