Westmont-Lake View Elementary Students to Participate In Westminster Police Department’s Annual Memorial This Week

Fourth and fifth grade students from Westmont-Lake View Elementary School in the Ocean View School District will speak at this week’s annual memorial for fallen Westminster Police Department officers. Students at the school, located in Westminster, are currently writing about the importance of remembering the community’s fallen officers. Principal Sue Broderson said the school has supported this tradition for the past 10 years. Three students will speak at the memorial event to be held on Thursday, May 19, at 5:00 p.m. at the Westminster Civic Center.
