Costa Mesa – The Coast Federation of Educators and The Coast Federation of Classified Employees announce their endorsement of former Congressman and long-time Coast Trustee for re-election to the Coast Community College Board of Trustees. “Jerry Patterson has worked tirelessly to ensure that students and faculty at Orange Coast College, Golden West College, and Coastline college have the finest facilities and resources to work and learn,” said Rob Schneiderman, President of the Coast Federation of Educators, the union representing Coast District faculty. “With Jerry Patterson on the Board of Trustees, we have weathered tough times successfully, and the Coast District colleges have become top transfer institutions.”
Classified union president, Ann Nicholson said, “Jerry Patterson,” a former Long Beach State instructor, “has always been a strong supporter of public education. We look forward to working with Trustee Patterson to help students take advantage of the amazing educational resources that the Coast District offers, so they can achieve their dreams.”
