Voice of OC Publisher Moderating this Sunday’s Irvine City Council Candidate Forum

Voice of OC Publisher Norberto Santana, Jr., will moderate this Sunday’s Irvine City Council candidate forum. The forum is hosted by Irvine Watchdog, a nonpartisan volunteer group that invited all of the mayoral and council candidates. Two city council seats are up this year with twelve people vying for the positions. Nine of the candidates will attend the event. A candidate meet and greet starts at 4:15 p.m. and the forum is from 5 to 7 p.m. this Sunday, Sept.

Voice of OC Publisher to Moderate Santa Ana Community Safety Forum

Voice of OC Publisher Norberto Santana, Jr., will moderate a Santa Ana public safety forum tonight. Panelists include: Santa Ana Police Chief David Valentin, Santa Ana Unified School District Police Chief Anastasia Smith, City of Santa Ana Homeless Services Manager Hafsa Kaka, youth resident Juan Plasencia, Project Kinship’s Steven Kim and Neutral Ground’s Pastor Nati Alvardo. The 6-8 p.m. Sept. 26 event is a discussion amongst adult and youth residents, local organizations, city staff and Santa Ana Police. The forum is at the Delhi Center, 505 Central Ave., Santa Ana.

Feet to the Fire Forum Tonight in Newport Beach

Voice of OC Publisher Norberto Santana, Jr., will take part in moderating tonight’s Feet to the Fire forum in Newport Beach. The Newport Beach council candidate forum will be moderated by Santana, Daily Pilot Columnist and Voice of OC Board Member Barbara Venezia and Los Angeles Times Executive Editor John Canalis. A candidate meet and greet is 6-7 p.m. and the forum starts at 7 p.m. for this Friday, Sept. 21, event. The event is at the Robert B. Moore Theater on Arlington Drive at Orange Coast College.
