The Santa Ana City Council generally meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.

MEETING TIME: The council’s regular meeting typically begins at 5:45 p.m. If there are any closed session items, that portion of the meeting begins at 5 p.m.
MEETING LOCATION: Council Chamber, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana
Residents can watch council meetings live through the city’s YouTube channel or the City of Santa Ana TV channel — available on Spectrum channel 3 and AT&T U-verse channel 99.
PUBLIC COMMENT: Public comments may be mailed to: Office of the City Clerk, 20 Civic Center Plaza M-30, Santa Ana, CA 92701. All written communications received via mail by 4 p.m. on the day of the meeting will be distributed to the city council and made available for public review.
Residents can also email ecomment@santa-ana.org with any written comments by 4 p.m. the day of the meeting. Comments received after the cut-off time will be included as part of the record as early as possible. Written comments will be summarized during the Council meeting and not read verbatim.
Members of the public can provide in-person comments at the podium in the council chamber. Public comments are limited to three minutes per speaker. Speakers who wish to address the council must do so by submitting a request to speak card by 5 p.m. for closed session items and by 6 p.m. for all other designated public comment periods as listed below.
