Kriz: Another 45 People Died Homeless in OC in December, 488 for the Year.  Now, After 2 Weeks of Rain, What’s Next?

With another 45 people having died without fixed abode in December in OC, the number of homeless deceased for 2022 equaled 488 more than 100 more deaths than in 2021, and more than 2x the homeless death toll in 2019.  Now after two weeks of rain, the County wants to reopen two Armories as „Cold Weather Shelters,“  Yet when the program operated it came to be widely hated by all, including the people it was supposed to serve.  Would there be more effective emergency alternatives?  Of course, there would be.
