Lexie the pit bull has been at OC Animal Care in Tustin for about three weeks after she was returned by a previous adopter.

Staff notations say she’s a sweet dog who enjoys long walks and naps on the couch. She’s usually a little shy when meeting new people but opens up quickly, according to staff descriptions.

Lexie is currently available for adoption, and she’s eligible for the shelter’s October adoption promotion, which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over. She is also available as part of the shelter’s foster-to-adopt program.
