The Santa Ana Unified School District Board generally meets on scheduled Tuesdays each month.

MEETING TIME: The board’s regular meetings typically begin at 6 p.m. If there are any closed session items, that portion of the meeting usually begins at 5 p.m.
MEETING LOCATION: 1600 E. Chestnut Avenue Santa Ana, CA 92701-6322. Meetings are also broadcast live on Spectrum Cable Channel 31 and repeated the following Saturday at 3 p.m. and Tuesday at 6 p.m. Meeting videos are live-streamed and stored on the district’s website and YouTube channel.
PUBLIC COMMENT: Individual speakers are allowed three minutes to address the board in person on agenda or non-agenda items. The board may limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. With the board’s consent, the board president may increase or decrease the time allowed for public comment depending on the topic and the number of people wishing to speak.
Speakers wishing to address the board are requested to complete a card and submit it to the recording secretary. The “Request to Address the Board of Education” cards are located on the table in the foyer.
