The pandemic pushed millions of women out of jobs and prevented many from seeking new employment. Jobs in restaurants, retail and healthcare (primary female sectors) were eliminated. The closing of childcare centers and shift to remote learning added responsibilities at home. Action is needed to get women back to work.
