Chapman University is one of 60 universities under investigation by the Trump administration for antisemitism allegations. The author, who is Jewish and has taught at the university for more than 40 years, says the allegations are baseless, and says some students–like the general public— often confuse anti-semitism with criticism of the state of Israel’s treatment of the Palestinian people.
