Bastion
Bastion has been at the shelter for about a little over two months after coming in as a stray.
According to staff notations, he’s a friendly dog who does best with slow introductions. Descriptions say he’s comfortable spending time alone and does not need constant attention.
Bastion already knows how to “sit” on command and enjoys receiving pets, notations say, adding that he would be best suited for a home where he can be the only pet.
He’s currently available for adoption, and he’s also available as part of the shelter’s September adoption promotion that is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over.

Jasper

He’s currently available for adoption, and he’s also available as part of the shelter’s September adoption promotion that is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over.

Upcoming Events at OC Animal Care
OC Animal Care is closed today in observance of Native American Day, but the shelter has a series of events tomorrow.
On Sept. 26, the shelter is hosting a free rabies clinic to commemorate World Rabies Day. At this event, the first 100 rabies vaccines will be free for all pet owners, while supplies last.
There is a max limit of three vaccines per household, and the event will run from 8 to 10 a.m. at the shelter in Tustin.
Sittin’ with Kittens also returns tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., when visitors will be able to meet litters of kittens that were previously in foster care and are now ready for adoption.
Shelter representatives will also be present at two off-site events tomorrow.
OC Animal Care will be part of Huntington Beach’s Pet Food Express Pet Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The shelter will have adoptable dogs and cats at their booth for this event.
Representatives will also be at the Cypress Community Festival at Oak Knoll Park from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., where there will also be adoptable shelter dogs ready to greet visitors.
OC Animal Care, the county-run animal shelter in Tustin, is open daily for adoption visits from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, visitors can freely walk through the kennel areas to view the available animals.
