Honeydew
Honeydew is a newer face at OC Animal Care — she’s been at the shelter for about a week after she was surrendered by a previous owner. Staff members don’t have very many details to offer about Honeydew’s personality at this time, but she was calm and curious when approached in her kennel.
Honeydew is currently available for adoption, and she’s eligible for the shelter’s October adoption promotion, which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over. She is also available as part of the shelter’s foster-to-adopt program.

Brooke
Brooke has been at the shelter for about four months after coming in as a stray. Staff notations say she can be shy at first when meeting new people but opens up quickly. She already knows a few basic commands and enjoys being around other dogs.
Brooke is currently available for adoption and is eligible for the shelter’s October adoption promotion, which waives adoption fees for all dogs weighing 25 pounds or more. She is also available as part of the shelter’s foster-to-adopt program.

Keke
Keke has been at OC Animal Care in Tustin for about a month after coming in as a stray. She’s a “tortie” cat — meaning she has a multicolored, tortoiseshell-like coat coloring. She is currently available for adoption.
OC Animal Care is also hosting a “Sittin’ with Kittens” adoption event every Saturday for visitors to meet multiple litters of kittens that were previously in foster care and are now ready for adoption. No appointment is required for this event.

OC Animal Care, the county-run animal shelter in Tustin, is open daily for adoption visits from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, visitors can freely walk through the kennel areas to view the available animals.
