Truckstop
Truckstop has been at OC Animal Care in Tustin for just over a year — he’s been waiting to get adopted since Sept. 16, 2025.
He’d be best suited for a pet-experienced, patient home that can provide consistency, structure and guidance, according to staff notations.
He’s a friendly and playful pet who knows his basic commands. Descriptions also say Truckstop would require a home with no other animals and a secure yard. He wouldn’t be a good match for apartment living.
Truckstop is currently available for adoption, and he’s also available as part of the shelter’s September adoption promotion that is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over.

Camo
Camo has been at the shelter for about a week after coming in as a stray. Staff descriptions say he’s a shy puppy who thrives with slow introductions.
Notations also say he enjoys attention and affection and would do best in a home without children.

Free Rabies Clinic Coming Up, Plus ‘Sittin’ With Kittens’
OC Animal Care is hosting a free rabies clinic on Sept. 26 from 8 to 10 a.m. at their Tustin shelter.
At this event, the first 100 rabies vaccines will be free for all pet owners, while supplies last.
The shelter is also continuing to host its weekly Sittin’ With Kittens event on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors can meet kittens that were previously in foster care and are now ready for adoption.
OC Animal Care, the county-run animal shelter in Tustin, is open daily for adoption visits from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, visitors can freely walk through the kennel areas to view the available animals.
