THE OC BLACK BLUEPRINT –

DATA AND STRATEGIES FOR HEALTH AND BUSINESS FORUM

When: Saturday, July 13th  10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Where: NEW HOPE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

              2580 W Orange Ave, Anaheim CA. 92080

This is a collaborative project sponsored by Advance OC, Health Equity for African Americans League, and the Orange County Black Chamber of Commerce.

Local leaders including Anaheim Mayor Ashleigh Aitken and La Palma Mayor Marshall Goodman will be discussing initiatives advancing the health, business and civic engagement for African Americans in Orange County.

Bobby McDonald, President of the Black Chamber of Commerce stated “Because African Americans only comprise approximately 1.7% of the Orange County population our needs are easily overlooked. At this forum expert panelists will discuss strategic approaches to address the unfortunate disparities regarding health and business for the African American Community”.

In addition to the above there will be an exciting presentation regarding the latest data, including but not limited to demographic and statistical information about the African American Community. This information will be extremely helpful to community leaders, elected officials, clergy and candidates participating in upcoming elections.

LUNCH WILL BE SERVED.   Please contact: Torhon Barnes at torhon@advanceoc.com to reserve your spot for this extremely important event.

ADMISSION IS FREE
