Carrie Lundell, a PTA mother of four school-aged children from Orange, writes that partisan politics wants us to choose whether we are “pro charter school” or “anti charter school”. But, if we want to do right by our students, we need to stop talking in absolutes and start looking at charter schools and their costs on school districts and student education individually because not all charter schools are created equal.
