Vaughn: Is the County Working to Fix the Animal Shelter’s Problems? If so, Why Haven’t Any Progress Reports Been Released?
While there’s some positive change in the shelter, serious problems remain. OC needs to be transparent about the implementation (or not?) of the shelter’s taxpayer-funded Strategic Plan. It also needs to value its experienced volunteers, instead of restricting them to crowded walkways and yards deteriorating into mud pits.
