The 31,000 students within the Anaheim Union High School District are about to get a new superintendent, and mystery surrounds who it is.

Board members plan to appoint the new superintendent on Tuesday, but the person’s name and salary aren’t disclosed in the meeting’s agenda.

The appointment comes after the previous superintendent, Elizabeth Novack, was fired for undisclosed reasons.
