Candidates for a Jan. 27 special election for First District county supervisor will go head-to-head at a community forum next Tuesday at Rancho Santiago Community College.

The candidates’ forum will take place next week at 2323 N. Broadway, Santa Ana in the Board room, from 7 to 8:30pm.

The forum is hosted by Connect-to-Council, a Santa Ana neighborhood volunteer group dedicated to connecting residents to neighborhood resources.

Five candidates are running for the open seat, which was vacated by State Sen. Janet Nguyen.
