Former First District Chief of Staff Andrew Do will be sworn in Tuesday morning as Supervisor, according to an email invitation from Orange County Republican Party chair Fred Whitaker.

“I am pleased with the results and am thankful that Orange County’s Board of Supervisors will remain purely Republican,” Whitaker wrote in a message to the OC GOP listserv. “However, it is of utmost importance that we as Republicans show our support for Supervisor-Elect Do and his Republican colleagues on the Board.”

Friday’s final vote tally showed Do leading by by 43 votes. Do’s opponent, Lou Correa, has five days to ask for a recount.

The swearing in ceremony will be held Tuesday, February 3rd at 8:30AM on the steps of the Old Orange County Courthouse at 211 West Santa Ana Boulevard, Santa Ana, CA 92701.
