Mary’s Kitchen, an invaluable lifeline to the homeless of Orange County for decades, is facing imminent extinction at the hands of its landlord, the City of Orange. The city has had some unkind words for Mary’s of late and the homeless population who frequent the soup kitchen which has served as a haven of rest and recuperation for the unhoused on a daily basis. A nuisance and an eyesore the city now calls it. . . but who are the bad guys here really?
