Events

The Library of the Canyons hosts an all-day arts and crafts session every Monday and Saturday. The self-guided program is located in the children's section. The program is for all ages but is specifically created for young children (preschool to third grade).

The Garden Grove Tibor Rubin Library hosts a morning story time for families every Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Come 15 minutes early and stay 15 minutes after for children's play and social time. No registration is required.

The Westminster Library hosts a family storytime every Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. for children of all ages. Children are encouraged to stay afterward for crafts and playtime.

The San Clemente Library hosts a sensory playtime every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The library includes sensory toys and activities that keep children of all ages captivated using sight, sound and touch. No registration is required.

The Mesa Verde Library hosts a family storytime on Thursdays and Saturdays starting at 11 a.m. The event includes stories, songs and fingerplays for children of all ages. No registration is required.

The Laguna Niguel Library hosts a socialization and playtime event for children up to 3 years old every Saturday at 11 a.m. All materials and toys are provided by the library, and children are accompanied by an adult.

The Brea Library hosts a family storytime for kids of all ages every Saturday starting at 11 a.m. The group sings songs and reads books for kids and their families. No registration is required.

The La Palma Library hosts family-friendly movie screenings every Saturday at 2 p.m. The movie is paired with an accompanying craft each week. All supplies are provided by the library. The program is available for all ages.
