The City Council Tuesday night approved two new bus routes to
serve the area around the Irvine Spectrum.
Councilman Larry Agran proposes that Irvine residents cast early
presidential preference votes, and the iShuttle may get two more
routes.

The agreement with the city of Irvine promises 30 years of
funding for the bus system.
Christina Shea is leaving the dais at the end of the year. In
November, voters will decide whether to replace Shea with a
Republican cast from her mold, or a Democrat who will strengthen an
already formidable majority.
The California Transportation Commission announced the funding, which will one day go toward Irvine’s citywide public transit vision.
