Nonprofit Gets OK to Negotiate for Redevelopment of Anaheim Grove

In a 3-2 vote, the Anaheim City Council gave a fledgling nonprofit the exclusive right to negotiate with the city to develop, and possibly purchase, the site where the City National Grove now stands.

A nonprofit run by wealthy campaign contributors to the current city council majority would get exclusive rights to lease, and potentially purchase, the land under the City National Grove and build a new performing arts center in its place.
