In a matter of weeks, Peter Buffa went from serving on the
Orange County Transportation Authority board to working for an
investment house that does business with the agency.
OCTA directors are treated to Yankee games and Broadway shows on
their annual trip to New York to woo Wall Street honchos. They say
it’s all part of the important business they do on behalf of
taxpayers.
Records and interviews reveal that ta xpayers could be paying a
total of about $33,000 in coverage for Miguel Pulido through plans
offered by the city and the Orange County Transportation
Authority.
