Rumors are flying around Santa Ana City Hall about the pending departure of City Attorney Joe Fletcher.

Fletcher has not been made available for comment, and City Manager Dave Ream refused to comment on the situation. The closest thing to a confirmation of the departure came from Councilman Carlos Bustamante, who acknowledged that Fletcher is leaving but said he didn’t know what would happen next.
