Voice of OC readers have been treated in recent months to a high level of reporting on public health issues, led by healthy communities reporter Tracy Wood, that previously could not be found in Orange County.

Now we have a new page dedicated exclusively to that coverage.

Peruse the page and you’ll see how Voice of OC, more than any other local news outlet, has examined how massive state budget cuts will affect services that Orange County’s neediest depend on. You’ll also see stories on food justice and the extensive work we’ve done on the myriad issues facing our homeless population.

We couldn’t be doing this work without the generous support we’ve received from The California Endowment, which has embarked on an ambitious 10-year plan to build healthy communities throughout the state.

As always, we thank you for reading us and supporting us.
