PBS Video: A Volunteer’s Important Role in Finding a Missing Hiker

This week on PBS SoCaL we delve into a volunteer’s successful effort to find one of the two lost hikers in the South Orange County wilderness earlier this year.

Costa Mesa resident John Sendry used free downloadable software to map out areas that had been searched and determine where he should look. Ultimately he led rescuers to Kyndall Jack’s location.
