OVSD SCHOOLS HOST OPEN HOUSES, ENCOURAGE PARENT ATTENDANCE

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, April 19, 2016– Schools throughout the Ocean View School District are hosting Open Houses and related activities this week and next. According to Superintendent Carol Hansen, Open House is the perfect time for parents to engage in their child’s learning. “We invite all parents to attend their child’s Open House, so they can see the work going on in the classroom, meet other families, and engage their child’s teacher one-on-one,” said Hansen. “Many of our schools also hold fun and convenient activities around the Open House, such as food trucks and book fairs, so there are even more opportunities to enjoy our schools and get to know the people involved.”
