MORE THAN 40 PARENT AND COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS HONORED IN OVSD

Principals from All 17 Schools Escorted Beloved Volunteers before an Enthusiastic Crowd

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, May 11, 2016– The Ocean View School District Board of Trustees, Superintendent Carol Hansen and the Executive Cabinet recognized more than 40 parent and community volunteers from throughout its 17 preschool, elementary and middle schools at last night’s Board Meeting. Volunteers, escorted by their school’s principal, were presented with pins and certificates commemorating their service to their schools. Following the ceremony, family and friends gathered for coffee and cake.
