At their annual awards dinner on May 6th, the Orange County League
of Conservation Voters presented awards to community groups that have demonstrated extraordinary accomplishments and perserverance over the past year.

Receiving the 2016 Environmental Activism Awards were the Dana Point Residents for Responsible Development and Costa Mesa First.

Receiving the 2016 Outstanding Environmental Journalism Award was the Voice of OC.

Receiving the 2016 Environmental Non-Profit of the Year was the Banning Ranch Conservancy.

The sell-out event held at the UC Irvine University Club included numerous presentations detailing the current efforts by the awardees to improve the quality of life and environment of their local communties.

OCLCV’s awards dinner is held annually to honor Orange County environmental advocates and raise funds for the election of local candidates that support environmental protection and the conservation of our natural resources.
