Santa Ana College Theatre Arts School Premieres Four Short Films from First Motion Picture Performance Class
FILMS: Jessie’s All Right (Drama): Stars Andrew Broome, Laura Garcia, Jacqueline Aguilar, Marco Garcia, Jacqueline Castro
Synopsis: Jesse used to be overweight and now he’s not, but his obsession with weight loss has turned unhealthy and takes him down a dark path that even his friends and family cannot save him from.
Boy and Girl (Drama): Stars Justin Lira, Mica Munn
Synopsis: Jake is an average college student determined to overcome heartbreak. After being dumped by his girlfriend, Jake finds himself caught up in the world of online dating and websites promising sexual encounters. He becomes so engrossed in this new and exciting cyber reality that he begins to lose the ability to see the opportunities that are right in front of him.
Mortals (Science Fiction/Horror): Stars Danny Gonzalez, Amanda Van Smaalen, J.R. Perry
Boogey (Horror): Stars Tyler Sypherd, Anthony Ramirez, Leda Valencia, Charlie Jimenez, Jose Mendoza, Alex Castaneda, Katie Sullivan
Synopsis: Nick is obsessed with an online forum dedicated to unsolved cases. Through the course of a series of strange videos posted online, he stumbles onto something dark and sinister that cannot be explained.
