The following is a press release from an organization unaffiliated with Voice of OC. The views expressed here are not those of Voice of OC.

I want to extend a sincere congratulations to both Lou Correa and Bob Peterson for their success in moving on to the general election. I pledge to work with our next representative to ensure that our younger generation doesn’t have to worry about an economy stacked against them, an environment at risk from global warming, or the dangers from an unlimited flow of guns and ammunition into our communities. I hope we can find areas of common ground and work together on making our neighborhoods even better.

This campaign gave our broad and diverse team an amazing opportunity to connect with our local leadership and activists on the issues that matter. Whether it’s food trucks in Santa Ana, short-term rentals in Anaheim, or open space in Orange, all of us remain vested in these issues and will continue to advocate on behalf of our communities.

Finally, I’d like to thank all of our supporters and contributors who made this journey possible.  And a special thanks to my amazing campaign staff and volunteers.  It has been an honor to work side-by-side with them these past few months. Together we will accomplish much in the coming months and years.

Very truly yours,
Joe
