Garden Grove Firefighters Endorse Kim Bernice Nguyen for Garden Grove City Council District 6
Garden Grove, Calif. – Garden Grove Firefighters of IAFF Local 2005, have endorsed Kim Nguyen for Garden Grove City Council, District 6. This distinguished and dedicated association of Garden Grove Firefighters represents over 100 men and women who keep our city safe and who have long proven their courage and devotion to serving the greater Garden Grove community.
The Garden Grove Fire Department was founded in 1926 and its Firefighters have dutifully, diligently, and heroically protected our city for 90 years. There are a total of seven stations strategically located throughout Garden Grove, including one in City Council District 6.
Heading into the future, new challenges face the Garden Grove Fire Department as the city grows in population, new structures and upward with new hotel developments. As Councilwoman, Kim Nguyen will work to ensure our Fire Department has the right staffing level and that the city’s Firefighters have the tools and training they need to meet the critical demands of protecting life and property. Because of her knowledge and skills, along with a strong commitment to public service, the Garden Grove Firefighters, IAFF Local 2005 stand behind Kim and see her as their public safety advocate on the City Council.
