Voice of OC Publisher Norberto Santana, Jr., will be guiding reporters and editors on the use of public records today at an Investigative Reporters and Editors workshop held for NLGJA, The Association of LGBTQ Journalists.

Santana will offer practical advice and strategies for crafting public records requests, tracking them and holding officials’ feet to the fire. Includes strategies for dealing with excuses and obstacles from public officials who stand in your way of getting key documents and data.

The presentation by Santana is part of the 2018 Palm Springs Watchdog Workshop.
