Guided by a board of seasoned professionals from law, journalism, finance, and academia, Voice of OC upholds the highest integrity and community engagement standards.

Barbara Venezia
Barbara Venezia, a journalist, author, producer, and podcast host, has shaped media in Orange County since 1988. She produced the comedy show ‘At Home on the Range’ and writes for major publications. Barbara co-created ‘Feet to the Fire’ forums and splits her time between Newport and Las Vegas.

Colleen Clark
Colleen Clark, a seasoned finance professional and CSU Fullerton alum, has over 25 years of experience with notable roles at Deloitte, and as CFO for several public agencies including the County of Orange and City of Irvine. She has managed over $5 billion in tax-exempt bonds and billion-dollar investments.

Erwin Chemerinsky
Erwin Chemerinsky, a distinguished constitutional scholar and Dean of Berkeley School of Law, previously led UCI’s law school and taught at USC. He is an active voice in public policy, contributing to major legal reforms and investigations, including the LAPD Rampart scandal.

Norberto Santana Jr.
Norberto Santana Jr., an award-winning investigative reporter and the founding publisher of Voice of OC, has over two decades of experience across Southern California’s top news outlets. He leads the newsroom, engagement, and fundraising operations and writes a weekly column on Orange County government.

Wylie A. Aitken
Chairman Wylie Aitken, a top-ranked trial lawyer and prominent O.C. philanthropist, co-founded Aitken-Aitken-Cohn and was the youngest president of the California Trial Lawyers Association. He supports numerous organizations, including Chapman University and the Orange County Performing Arts.

William C. “Bill” Taormina
Bill Taormina, raised in Anaheim, comes from a family with over 80 years of business and property ownership in the area. He focuses on projects that enhance the quality of life for locals and visitors, including developing homeless shelters with cities and the Salvation Army across the county and L.A. Bill’s personal motto is to “Humble Yourself and Thank God Every Day for your Blessings.”
