As businesses continue to suffer financially during the pandemic, a new push to designate Little Arabia forms in Anaheim.
The coronavirus will not stop Eid al-Adha celebrations in Orange County but it will change how those celebrations take place.
The city manager announced that Councilwoman Gail Eastman, who proposed an emergency ordinance, didn’t intend a moratorium.
Reacting to complaints from Little Arabia’s neighbors, the council will take up the issue at its next meeting Dec. 10.
A fair held in a Latino neighborhood and organized by a nonprofit affiliated with the city’s Muslim and Arab community shows an effort to build trust between the two groups.
