The Voice of OC team would like to extend an open invitation to all of our loyal readers and supporters to visit with us this Saturday, Dec. 5, during our inaugural open house.

Help us celebrate the Art of Investigative Reporting from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at our newsroom in the Santora Building in downtown Santa Ana, at 207 N. Broadway, Suite J (map).

The open house coincides with the monthly Art Walk tradition in the downtown Artists Village – every first Saturday – with numerous art galleries open for viewing and local restaurants joining in for a comfortable night of art, conversation and food.

Voice of OC Publisher Norberto Santana Jr. will be on hand Saturday to talk about our most recent investigation, “Fast Times at Rancho Santiago,” delving into the questionable spending and contracting policies at Santa Ana’s local community college district.

In addition to talking civics, readers can also learn more on Saturday about supporting our non-profit newsroom.

If you can’t make it to the open house, please consider our impact on local government as you make your year-end giving decisions. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible.

If you’d like to support our work and help us uncover more revealing stories, you can donate at this link. Any amount is helpful. Thank you!

Since you've made it this far,

You are obviously connected to your community and value good journalism. As an independent and local nonprofit, our news is accessible to all, regardless of what they can afford. Our newsroom centers on Orange County’s civic and cultural life, not ad-driven clickbait. Our reporters hold powerful interests accountable to protect your quality of life. But it’s not free to produce. It depends on donors like you.
