County supervisors seem poised this week to take the long overdue step of setting up a homelessness triage center in downtown Santa Ana. Let’s hope the good will lasts beyond the November election.

Spitzer’s Proposal to Hire Lalloway Raises Conflict Questions
Supervisor Todd Spitzer is proposing the county pay Irvine Councilman Jeffrey Lalloway $190,000 to be his policy advisor, which is potentially controversial given that Irvine and the county often have opposing interests.
